MANAGEMENT/FINANCE
Membership Development Director |
Primary liaison for our
association at the Girl Scouts of San Francisco Bay Area council headquarters. A Membership Development Director (MDD)
is a paid staff position at council which is responsible for helping develop Girl Scout membership and supporting related
Girl Scouting activities in one or more associations (geographic regions) within the council boundaries. Our
MDD is Tanya Gunton. She can be reached at 1-800-447-4475 x163 during normal business hours. |
Association Coordinator(s) |
Plan and run monthly ACT
meetings and Leader meetings. Prepares annual calendar and ACT roster. Oversee association happenings and consult with
Membership Development Director. |
Association Chairperson |
Accountable to plan and
hold association meetings and to plan and carry out a community relations plan within the association. This position/team is presently OPEN. |
RecordingSecretary |
Performs secretarial tasks
necessary for the association (i.e., monthly ACT meeting minutes). This position/team
is presently OPEN. |
Treasurer |
Performs all financial
tasks necessary for the association according to council and association guidelines. |
COMMUNICATION/RECORDS
Communications Coordinator |
Responsible for electronic
distribution of newsletters and various event flyers via e-mail to LTA leaders. Maintains association e-mail distribution
list. Works closely with newsletter editor and webmistress. This
position/team is presently OPEN. |
Newsletter Editor |
Prepares a monthly administrative
newsletter to support the association programs. |
Newsletter Distribution |
Distributes the monthly
newsletter by mail to troop leaders and ACT members. |
Webmistress |
Designs and maintains the
website and email capabilities for the association to provide related communication and information sharing using the Internet. |
Database Manager |
Keeps track of current
Las Trampas adults and leaders. |
Leader Training Records |
Maintains records of training
completed by Las Trampas adults and leaders. |
PRODUCT SALES MANAGEMENT
Fall Product Sales Coordinator |
Responsible for successful
promotion and implementation of the annual council-sponsored Fall Sale within the association. |
Fall Product Booth Coordinator |
Coordinates the acquisition/scheduling
of booth sites with local merchants and the assignment of these sites with interested troops for the Fall Product Sales to
the pubic. |
Fall Cupboard Manager |
Manages the inventory and
distribution of all Fall Sale merchandise to the individual troops participating in the sale. |
Cookie Sales Coordinator (s) |
Responsible for successful
promotion and implementation of the annual council-sponsored Cookie Sale within the association. |
Cookie Booth Coordinator (s) |
Coordinates the acquisition/scheduling
of booth sites with local merchants and the assignment of these sites with interested troops for the Cookie Sales to the pubic. |
Cookie Cupboard Manager |
Manages the inventory and
distribution of all Cookie Sale merchandise to the individual troops participating in the sale. |
SPECIAL PROGRAMS and EVENTS
Olympics Coordinator |
Coordinates the premier
association event of the year -- the Las Trampas Girl Scout Olympics. |
Diablo Day Camp Representative |
Plans and runs session(s)
of the Diablo Day Camp summer program. |
Super Troop Coordinator |
Coordinates the Super Troop
patch program and organizes the related awards at the end of the year. |
Association Trainer |
Provides training opportunities
for leaders of new and experienced troops throught the council. |
Discoveree Liaison |
Meets with the Councilwide
committee on a monthly basis to help plan the January Discoveree training event. This
position is presently OPEN. |
Wider Opportunity Liaison |
Assists girls in learning
about the Wider Opportunity programs which may be available to them. This position/team
is presently OPEN. |
Uniform/Handbook Recycling |
Coordinates the collection
and distribution of used Girl Scout handbooks and uniforms for our association. |
Adult Recognitions |
Nominates and oversees
the giving of awards for outstanding volunteers. |
AGE-LEVEL PROGRAM CONSULTANTS and SPECIAL
EVENT COORDINATORS
Program-level Consultants |
Provide ongoing direct
help to troops on matters of troop management, safety management, and program implementation at specific age levels.
Consultants are experienced troop leaders who can "mentor" new leaders and adults who are new to a particular age-level: Daisy Consultant Brownie Consultant Junior Consultant Cadette Consultant Senior

Head Service Unit Organizer |
Directs the work of the
individual service unit organizers in organizing troops and maintaining quality programs within their assigned areas.
Helps at fall recruiting meetings and fills in for absent school organizers as needed. Chairs four annual Leader Meetings
for LTA troop leaders and adult volunteers. |
Head Registrar |
Directs the work of the
individual service unit registrars and coordinates the collection and transmission of all membership paperwork between our
association and council. |
Service Unit
Organizers |
Within the assigned area,
sees that Girl Scouting is offered to all girls. Helps see that troops are available to all who wish to join.
